APPLE PICKING MOMMA IN OAK GLEN, CA

That's right!!! We went apple picking!!! Despite the intense heat, my preggers little self loved every last minute of apple picking with the family. We even had wonderful little Lennon in tow, although he probably won't remember much of it. Actually, to think of it, neither will Miles. But we do have some awesome pictures of the day to remind us. Lennon was wide awake and moving a bunch while we hiked through orchards and waded through some great and not so great apples. In the end we went home with our best pick of the lot and some super yummy treats to boot. We stopped in Oak Glen Village (pictured) and walked away with incredibly delicious caramel apples. Lennon was a very happy boy. Miles, however, did not get to have any caramel apple...;o(. One day -- when he's a big boy!!!

LITTLEMISSMATCHED SILLY SAFARI NURSERY BEDDING & DECOR

This is the bedding and decor that we have purchased for the squirmy Little Lennon!!! It is ABSOLUTELY to die for cute and right up my alley with it's mismatched fabrics and patterns!!! Lennon's room has already been painted a soft blue with a hint of teal and the doors are a bright orange, so this bedding set will go perfectly. We do plan on painting some clear glazed stripes on the wall before we start dressing the room!!! The Plan??? To begin getting the nursery in order after Miles' 1st Birthday Party!!! That gives us -- oh about -- 5 MONTHS!!!! I think we can do it in that time. We are so excited about welcoming Lennon home into his beautiful bedroom. It is going to be such a thrill to have two sweet little boys!!!

19 WEEKS PREGNANT - OUR LARGE HEIRLOOM TOMATO -- PAPA'S FAVORITE!!!

How your baby's growing:
Your baby's sensory development is exploding! His brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that he may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to him, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.

Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. His arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of his body now. His kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on his scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on his skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.

STARBUCKS STEAMER WITH 2 PUMPS OF PUMPKIN -- MY REKINDLED LOVE

Oh how this pregnant momma adores the fall season and it's many wonderful accompaniments!!! Last night I rediscovered, for the 3rd year in a row, the Starbucks Steamer with 2 pumps of pumpkin!!! My mouth is salivating at just the mere thought of this piping hot, creamy concoction. We're talking a grande sized cup of steaming hot milk pumped full of pumpkiny goodness. That's right -- steamed milk. I am 30 years old and begging for a nightly cup of steamed milk!!! Tonight, Lennon and I, will indulge in yet another Pumpkin Steamer, cozied up on the couch in front of a rip roaring, crackling fire, hanging out with our favorite jay jay buns!!!!

18 WEEKS PREGNANT - OUR LITTLE BELL PEPPER

How your baby's growing:
Head to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and he weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead (Already feeling his beautiful movements) . His blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around his nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he's born. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, but he may hide them from you during an ultrasound(This little guy is definitely not shy).

CRAVING THE HECK OUT OF AN ITALIAN SUB!!!

I am having a craving so strong that I could possibly harm or maim someone to get it. I feel that if I don't sink my teeth into a super yummy Italian Sub Sandwich, I will literally die!!! Okay -- this may all be a slight exaggeration, but I really am craving a sub!!! Oh how I love the amazing combination of Capicola, Prosciutto, Genoa Salami, Provolone, and Mayo and mustard on french bread!!!! I know this is all Lennon's fault. That baby boy wants a sub and he wants it now. I have already sent Jason to the store to pick-up the fixings for one of these bad boys and I will be happily munching on one in the very near future!!! DAY TRIP TO SOLVANG

I am so excited about enjoying the bulk of this pregnancy in the fall and winter months. I am such a cold weather girl, and I love all of the food and celebration that comes along with the cold weather months. Jason and I really come alive in September and we hope to pass this on to our sweet little boys. In true Koiter fasion, we hit the road this past weekend for our annual September day trip to Solvang, CA!!! This time we had Miles and Lennon in tow and boy oh boy was it a blast. The weather was absolutely perfect, the food was just what this pregnant momma had in mind, and Miles was such a good boy. Lennon even made his presence known. He was kicking and kicking letting momma know that he loved the danish pancakes and that he can't wait to splash in the fountain with his big brother next year!!! We are planning a second trip to Solvang the first week of December so that Miles can see the Danish Village all decked out in it's Christmas best!!! Plus they have a super sweet xmas parade and Santa is there to wow all the kiddies!!! We'll be 7 months along in the pregancy by then!!! It's just around the corner!!!

17 WEEK BELLY PIC

There it is in all it's bumpy little glory!!! Beautiful Baby Lennon is growing like a weed these next few weeks and stands to double in size. That means that my belly stands to double in size too!!! The next belly pic is going to be much MUCH bigger!!! Still feeling great -- and Lennon is still moving like mad. He definitely moves much more than his big brother did -- and his big brother moved a lot!!! By the way -- how freaking cute is his big brother? I love my little boys!!!

17 WEEKS PREGNANT - OUR LITTLE TURNIP

How your baby's growing:
Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.

PLANNING MILES' FIRST BIRTHDAY WHILE PREGGERS

I have been dreaming up Miles' 1st Birthday Party for months now, but the real planning is finally underway. I am so grateful to this pregnancy and Baby Lennon for the amazing NESTING INSTINCT that has suddenly kicked in and made me feel like super woman!!! I have been going non-stop and am a flurry with cooking and planning and buying and designing and inviting!!! I am one of those lucky ladies who gets bit with the nesting instinct very early on in pregnancy. I got to ride the high for most of the second trimester and all of the third while pregnant with Miles. It appears that I have been equally blessed this time around. Right now I am utilizing this buzz to keep motivated to sample cook all of the appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages that we will be serving at the party. Oh -- and it's that same instinct that has me crazy enough to even consider making all of the food for the party in the first place. I mean -- we sent out 55 invitations!!! LOLOLOLOLOL!!!! Thank goodness I have my mom!!! She has been by my side planning all of this with me and she has even GENEROUSLY offered her tasting services!!!! ;0) We really are having such a blast with this -- and it's just so magical to be planning Miles' 1st Birthday while being pregnant with our newest joy!!!

16 WEEKS PREGNANT - OUR LITTLE (YUMMY) AVOCADO

How your baby's growing:
Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.

LENNON WYATT KOITER

As promised -- we have revealed our chosen baby name. Because we were blessed with the news that our baby is a boy we are going with Lennon Wyatt. Had our little he been a little she the name would have been Lennyn Everly. There is a back story -- I was absolutely in love with the name Lennon. To die for in love. I was convinced that -- as much as we would have loved to have a girl -- the baby would be a girl and I would have to give up the name Lennon forever. But we realized that we could be blessed either way and still use the name. So we decided that no matter what our precious baby's gender we would stick with the name -- though we would change it slightly for a girl. We decided to swap the O out for a Y (making it more feminine) and give them both different middle names. It worked out so perfectly that we have been able to call the baby by name since we made the decision. Lennon has been Lennon to us for weeks now. It's just the most gorgeous name. I love the sound of Miles & Lennon. My boys -- Miles & Lennon!!! It makes me all giddy!!!!

OUR GENDER DETERMINATION ULTRASOUND

What an incredibly wonderful way to spend our Saturday morning!!! We were welcomed, warmly, into the cozy and beautifully decorated office of the lovely Lisa Bones!!! She is known all throughout the Santa Clarita Valley as THE sonographer to see for gender determination. She was SOOOOOOOOO sweet and incredibly good at her job. She was able to get some of the best ultrasound photos we have had to date!!! She was also able to tell us, without a doubt, that we are expecting another little boy!!! It was so obvious that Lennon was a boy from the moment she scanned across is boy parts. He was so not shy -- and it was all hanging out in the open!!! We were thrilled to tears to hear the word boy and it wasn't until that moment that I realized how much I really wanted a boy. It is going to be so wonderful for Miles to have a little brother to play with. I can just see them now, whiling their days away, kicking up dirt on every square inch of the Ranch!!! Once the buzz surrounding the news died down, we were able to spend some time exploring Lennon's perfectly developing little body. Perfectly complete hands and feet -- long lean arms and legs -- a sweet little upturned nose!!! He was absolutely gorgeous. Miles even loved seeing his baby brother. Miles wanted to be right up front and center -- touching the screen as images of Lennon popped up. It really was such a magical experience and we were so blessed to share it with our sweet little Miles and Nana & Papa. We couldn't have hoped for a better ultrasound and we couldn't have hoped for a better verdict. Now we only have to wait another 4 weeks before we get to see Lennon once again. It will be so cool to see how much he has changed in that time. Lots of love!!!

THE LONGEST 14 HOURS OF OUR LIVES!!!

We have 14 hours left until we find out our newest sweet peas gender!!! It's almost excruciating how slowly this day has gone by. I fear that I won't be able to sleep tonight and I was sooooooo counting on sleep to make the time fly by!!!! By 10:30 tomorrow morning, we will be celebrating the amazing news. We will be enjoying lunch and splurging on baby boy or girl goodies!!! I am SOOOOOO buying a teensy weensy little outfit for LENN??!!!! It really doesn't matter what the gender is -- we are so excited either way -- and Babies R Us has to die for clothes in both departments!!! Of course we will post the news and pics as soon as possible!!! Lots of love to you all!!!
